Water is Life, they say, but do you know that WHO reports that in 2022 globally, at least 1.7 billion people use a drinking water source contaminated with faeces, and this poses the greatest risk to drinking water safety? A million and one diseases and ailments can be avoided and averted when we invest in drinking safe water.
Access to clean water is not just a fundamental right, it is a matter of survival, health, and dignity. The statistics are stark and gloomy, but they don’t have to define the future. Imagine the transformation in these Nigerian villages: children growing up free from waterborne diseases, women no longer walking miles to fetch unsafe water, and communities thriving because they have access to a simple, life-saving resource, clean water.
This is why the Livingstone Explorer International Initiative has started the project, Clean Water for Nigerian Villages: Help Drill 10 Boreholes. This project contributes to number 6 of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development Goal, which is “Clean Water and Sanitation”. Every contribution, no matter how little directly saves lives and empowers communities. Together, we can turn hope into reality by drilling these 10 boreholes and giving these villages a chance at health, growth, and a brighter future. Will you help us make this change? Every drop counts so does your generosity. Donate now. If you can, please consider supporting by donating or sharing the link. Every bit of support makes a huge difference.
